1. What we collect

We collect the information you give us directly: your name, email, professional field, optional LinkedIn URL, marketing email preference, and the profile or post content you submit for analysis or optimization. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

We also collect product and device data when you use LinkedAI Labs, including page paths, referrer, session identifier, browser and operating system, device type, screen and viewport size, language, and timezone when you allow optional analytics cookies. This helps us understand site traffic, improve the product, and monitor abuse and reliability.

2. How we use it

To run AI analysis on the profile content you submit
To save your analysis history so you can revisit it
To compute industry benchmarks (anonymized) for your field
To show your name on the public leaderboard only if you opt in
To send essential account notifications (e.g. password reset)
To send optional product updates, launches, and related marketing emails if you opt in
To understand site usage, diagnose issues, improve conversion, and keep the service secure

3. Who we share it with

We share your submitted profile and post content with the AI provider that powers our analysis and optimization (so it can generate suggestions). We use Supabase and related infrastructure providers to host our database, authentication, and application data. We don't sell your data to third parties.

4. Public leaderboard

The leaderboard is opt-in only. If you turn it on, your first name, last initial, professional field, and best score become visible to other users. You can turn it off anytime in account settings.

5. Marketing emails

If you choose to receive product updates and marketing emails, we store your email address and basic account details in our marketing subscribers list so we can contact you about LinkedAI Labs updates, launches, and related announcements. You can opt out anytime in account settings.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data and analysis history for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is removed.

7. Your rights

You can view and update your profile data anytime in account settings. You can delete individual analyses from your dashboard. You can turn marketing emails off anytime. You can request deletion of your entire account by contacting us.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to help protect your information, including encrypted connections, authenticated access controls, and database-level protections designed to ensure users can only access their own data.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember consent choices, and maintain basic session state.

We also use first-party product analytics data such as page visits, referrer, and device information to understand how LinkedAI Labs is used when you accept optional analytics. If you reject non-essential cookies, we do not store those analytics events in our product analytics tables. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell browsing data to ad networks.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in the app.
